(IraqiNews.com) Diyali – Jalawla Distrct Council announced on Sunday, that 700 displaced families had returned to their houses in the district, stressing the continuation of the program of returning the displaced people to their areas in order to resolve their problems once and for all.

Head of Jalawla District Council, Jacob Yusuf, said in a press statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “More than 700 displaced families returned to their houses in the neighborhoods of al-Jamahir and al-Shuhada in the center of the district of Jalawla,” noting that, “Their [return] represents the 15th batch of displaced families to return to the district since the start of the program.”

Jalawla added, “The returning families were checked through the supreme security committee,” stressing that, “The pace of return of displaced persons will be increased in the coming period in order to resolve [this] file once and for all.”
