8 ISIS elements killed including Afghan senior commander east Salah al-Din

(IraqiNews.com) Diyala – A senior security source in Diyala province announced on Tuesday the killing of eight ISIS militants, including an Afghan senior commander in the liberation operation of Matibja area east Salah al-Din area.
The source said in an interview IraqiNews.com, “The formations of the Tigris Operations backed by al-Hashed al-sha’bi began today a wide-scale military operation to liberate the western part of the area of Matibja east of Salah al-Din of ISIS. ”
The source, who asked to remain anonymous, added: “eight ISIS militants were killed during the liberation process, including the Afghan Abu Talha, ISIS associate military commander within the area of Matbija “.
