8 ISIS militants killed in southern Tikrit
Salahuddin (IraqiNews.com) On Wednesday, a source within the police force announced, that 8 ISIS militants were killed during a military operation in southern Tikrit.
The source said, “Today, the security forces set a trap for ISSI vehicles in Aziz Balad area, 80 km in south of Tikrit. The attack resulted in destroying two vehicles and 8 deaths among the ISIS fighters.
Earlier in the same day, Iraqi Air Force announced it destroyed a number of armored vehciles belonged to ISIS and had killed 30 ISIS militants.
