 89 terrorists killed in Anbar and Salahuddin, says Media War Cell

(IraqiNews.com) Media War Cell announced on Wednesday the killing of 89 terrorists in the provinces of Anbar and Salahuddin, confirming the burning of two sites used to manufacture improvised explosive devices.

The cell said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com: “Anbar Operations Command continues the liberation process of Anbar province, where the security forces launced artillery and missile strikes against the enemy, and resulted in the killing of 24 terrorists, including leaders of the terrorist organization (Abu Aisha, Abu Sabah and Abu Yasser) near the defensive line in Albu Aatha area,” indicating that, “the security forces were able to destroy a vehicle carrying terrorist elements, in addition to destroying another vehicle in Albu Bali region.”

“The international coalition aviation bombed and destroyed a site for the enemy and killed its element in Humera area, and also burned 2 other sites used to manufacture improvised explosive devices,” the statement read.
