9 killed, injured by 2 IEDs in west and south of Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) A source in the Iraqi police, on Monday, said that one civilian was killed and eight others were wounded due to the explosion of two explosive devices in the west and the south of Baghdad.

The source said, in an interview for IraqiNews.com, that “The bomb was placed on the side of a road in al-Jihad neighborhood in the west of Baghdad, exploded in the evening, killing one civilian and wounding five others.”

The source, who asked not to be named, said: “the second bomb was placed on the side of a road in the Arab Jabour area in the south of Baghdad, exploded in the evening, injuring three civilians.”
