9 people killed and wounded in bomb blast in central Baghdad

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source in the Interior Ministry announced on Tuesday, that nine people had been either killed or wounded in the explosion of an explosive device in al-Kifah area in central Baghdad.
The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “A bomb exploded this morning in al-Kifah area in central Baghdad, resulting in the death of two people and injuring seven others.”
The source, who asked not to be named, added: “Ambulances rushed to the scene and transported the wounded to a nearby hospital for treatment and the bodies of the dead to the forensic medicine department.”
