(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – The commander of the armed forces Haider Abadi  announced on Saturday the liberation of 40% of the “usurped” areas by the ISIS.

Abadi said in a speech during a conference held by Iraqi Red Crescent Society that “we have liberated approximately 40 percent of the usurped territory and we have distanced the military threat from Baghdad,” adding that “we follow a clear policy to prosecute the corruption,” calling on the judiciary to “stay away from politics and to maintain the independence and dealing with the files of corruption not as dealing with ordinary crimes.”
