AED explodes in southern Salah-il-Din

Salah-il-Din (IraqiNews.com) an Adhesive Explosive Device attached to an officer’s personal vehicle exploded in al-Sayed Hameed area 200 ms away from the Holy Shrine of Imamain al-Askariyain in southern Samara city on Tuesday.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “The AED that was attached to the vehicle of Sameer Falih al-Aswad, captain in Support Forces supervised by Samara Operations Command went off killing him immediately.”

“The explosion resulted in material damages to the vehicle while the police transformed the dead body to the morgue,” the source concluded.
