AED explosion targets police officer in eastern Tikrit

Salah-il-Din (IraqiNews.com) A police officer was killed in eastern Tikrit on Friday noon.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “An Adhesive Explosive Device attached to officer’s vehicle exploded while he was getting home in central Tuz Khurmatu district destroying the vehicle and killing him.”

“The security forces hurried to the explosion area transferring the dead body to the morgue and launching investigation,” the source concluded.
