AED went off in northwestern Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Three civilians were injured when an Adhesive Explosive Device attached to a vehicle exploded in northwestern Baghdad on Tuesday morning.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “The AED was attached to a civilian vehicle parked near the Cassation Court in Hurriya area of northwestern Baghdad,” noting that “It went off injuring three civilians.”

“A security force hurried to the explosion area and sent the injured to the hospital for treatment,” the source concluded.

Earlier, a security source stated to IraqiNews.com that a car bomb exploded targeting the Cassation Court in Karkh side in Baghdad on Tuesday morning.

The source assured “The car bomb was parked near the court,” noting that “It went off killing and injuring a number of citizens,” without identifying the number of the casualties.
