 Airstrike in Kirkuk kills two ‘top’ ISIS officials

(IraqiNews.com) Kirkuk – A security source in Kirkuk province announced that two ISIS officials- Al-Jawali and Abu Qatada- were killed in an airstrike south-west of the province.

Sharing details the source said, “The International Coalition aircraft today bombed ISIS military sites in Rashad district, 35 km south-west of Kirkuk, killing its security official Ahmed Aziz al-Jawali along with three of his companions. The bombing also killed Abu Qatada, the commander of ISIS’ Kata’ib Salahuddin.”

“The air strikes were carried out in coordination with the Iraqi intelligence services,” further added the source seeking anonymity.
