Al-Hashed al-Shaabi announces the death of ISIS Wali of Baghdadi District

(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – The commander of Buraq forces, one of the factions of al-Hashed al-Shaabi forces, Watiq al-Fartusi announced on Wednesday the killing of ISIS Wali of al-Baghdadi and two of his his aides in military strike western Anbar.
Fartusi said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “The joint forces of al-Hashed al-Shaabi and the Iraqi army were able to kill the so-called Abu Humam al-Shami (Wali of Baghdadi district) and two of his aides in a military strike in Albu Hayat area in al-Baghdadi western Anbar.”
Fartusi added, “The strike were carried out in accordance with accurate intelligence,” pointing out that “the security forces and al-Hashed al-Shaabi forces control Baghdadi district and its surrounding areas.”
