 Anbar police announces liberating 80% of Ramadi

(IraqiNews.com) al-Anbar – Anbar police chief Maj. Gen. Hadi Rseg announced on Sunday, that the security forces had managed to retake 80 percent of Ramadi, explaining that there are hideouts of the organization in the area of al-Mallab and the 20th Street.

Rseg said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “Security forces from the Anti-Terrorism Directorate and Anbar police managed to liberate 80% of Ramadi, after incurring ISIS great human and material losses,” adding that, “The ISIS hideouts were not left except in the area of al-Mallab and the 20th Street,” pointing out to “The presence of future plans by the security forces to regain control of those areas and liberate it from the organization.”
