(IraqiNews.com) al-Anbar – The commander of the Third Special Operations of the Anti-Terrorism Directorate, Kazim al-Aradi, announced on Tuesday evacuating 250 civilians from the city of Ramadi.

Aradi said in a statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “A force from the Anti-Terrorism Directorate and Anbar police had managed to evacuate 250 civilians from the areas of al-Sejariyah and al-Sufiyah east of Ramadi,” noting that, “The force transferred them to al-Habbaniyah camp in the area of al-Khalediyah.”

“Most of the women and children were evacuated,” Aradi added.
