Antiquities smuggles netted in Thi-Qar

Thi-Qar (IraqiNews.com) A security force arrested a group of antiquities smugglers who were attending to smuggle more than 200 antiquities pieces in Thi-Qar province.

A Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “The security force netted the smuggler with 223 antiquities pieces according to intelligence information in al-Rifayi district of northern Nassiriya city the central of Thi-Qar province.”

“This is the seventh security operation against the antiquities smugglers within three months in Thi-Qar province,” the source concluded.
