Anbar (IraqiNews.com) A source in Anbar Operations Command revealed that two soldiers were killed, while four others were wounded in an armed attack launched by the Islamic State group on a security headquarters near Rutba Disrict, west of Anbar, Bas News reported on Sunday.

The source said that members of the Islamic State terrorist group are still stationed in three areas west of Anbar, Qaim, Rawa, Anah and desert areas, and launch attacks on Iraqi forces from time to time.

Iraqi forces need reinforcements, especially monitors and new tanks, as well as extra detachments along the international road that is not secured till now, the source added.

The source further explained that the Islamic State is using new vehicles and heavy weapons to attack military headquarters and convoys, especially when passing on the international road and the 210, intersection and 160 areas, near Rutba and Waleed border port, west of Anbar.
