Armed group netted in western Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) A security force arrested an armed group involved in conducting armed activities in Abu Ghareeb district of western Baghdad on Friday.

A statement by Baghdad Operations Command received by IraqiNews.com cited “A force from the 6th Iraqi Army Division managed to capture the terrorist group responsible for consolidating sectarianism and launching terrorist acts.”

“The group conducted armed operations against the security forces in the district,” the source concluded.
