Armed men kill 2 IS militants in central Hawija

Kirkuk (IraqiNews.com) A security source in Kirkuk Province informed that gunmen killed two members of the Islamic State in central Hawija, Alsumaria News reported on Sunday.
The source said that unidentified gunmen killed two members of the Islamic State terrorist group, while passing near one of popular markets in central Hawija, while the gunmen escaped to an unknown destination.
The two militants are from Mosul, and joined the terrorist group since capturing the district of Hawija, the source added on condition of anonymity.
Hawija is one of the areas that is frequently witnessing attacks and executions of civilians by the Islamic State.
