Armored forces arrive in south and east of Tikrit

 

(IraqiNews.com) A security source in Salahuddin announced Saturday, that an armored military force arrived in Tuzkhormato district east of Tikrit, and another military force in Samarra district south of Tikrit, in preparation to liberate Tikrit, Dour, al-Alam and Albu-Ajeel.

The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “An armored military force of more than 60 armored army mechanism arrived in Tuzkhormato district, (90 km east of Tikrit).”

The source added, “Another military force including armored mechanisms, artillery and rockets arrived in Samarra (40 km south of Tikrit),” noting that, “These forces will participate in the anticipated military operation to liberate Tikrit and Dour, al-Alam and Albu-Ajeel.”
