 Army forces detain so-called ISIS prince in Yusifiyah south of Baghdad, says Joint Operations

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – The Joint Operations Command announced on Saturday, that the Iraqi army forces had managed to detain the so-called ISIS prince in the area of al-Yusufiyah south of Baghdad.

Joint Operations said in a brief statement received by IraqiNews.com, “Today, a force from the leadership of the 17th Infantry Division was able to arrest the so-called ISIS prince in Yusufiya area during an inspection operation on the international highway road.”

The statement also added, “The detainee is considered to be the main financier of terrorist groups in the area of al-Wehda in the district of al-Mada’an.”
