(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source in the Ministry of Interior informed on Monday that one army man was killed and four others were injured in a bomb blast that was targeted on a army patrol in southern Baghdad.

The source informed, “An IED exploded at today afternoon, which was targeted at an army patrol while it was passing through Arab Jabbour village in Dawra, southern Baghdad. One army man was killed and four others were injured.”

Adding further the source said, “Security forces transferred the wounded to a nearby hospital and the dead body to the forensic department and later cordoned off the area.”
