Attempt to smuggle weapons defused in western Anbar

Anbar (IraqiNews.com) A security force defused an attempt to smuggle weapons in southern Qaem district of western Anbar province.

A statement by the Ministry of Defense received by IraqiNews.com “A force of Al-Jazeera Operations Command managed to seize two fuel tankers and four vehicles that contain mortar launchers in addition to other material.”

“Another operation resulted in defuse an attempt to smuggle cattle,” the statement concluded.
