Baghdad blast casualties rise to 104 soldiers

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) On Wednesday, a source within the police force said, that the bomb that targeted the 42nd division headquarters of the army in al-Madaen area has killed 43 soldiers and injured 61 others in southern Baghdad.

The source informed IraqiNews, “The bomb went off near a gathering for al-Sahwa elements in al-Madaen area of southern Baghdad, killing 42 soldiers and injuring 61 others,” adding that, “The injuries were transported to a near hospital to receive medical treatment, with some who have been critically injured in the explosion.”
