 Baghdad Operations: 54 terrorists killed, 85 explosives dismantled in southern Fallujah

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – Baghdad Operations Command announced on Friday, that the army forces had managed to kill 54 “terrorists” and dismantle 85 improvised explosive devices during the ongoing military operations in southern Fallujah.

A spokesman for the command, Brigadier Saad Mo’en, said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “Troops belonging to Baghdad Operations Command managed to kill 33 terrorists and destroying eight hideouts, in addition to dismantling 45 improvised explosive devices in Nuaimiya,” adding that, “These troops also managed to kill 14 terrorists, dismantle 27 roadside bombs and destroy two defensive sites for the enemy, in addition to treating four booby-trapped houses and burning a vehicle for the enemy in Ma’ameer and al-Irawaiya canal.”

Mo’en also pointed out to “the killing of seven terrorists and the deactivating of 13 improvised explosive devices in the area of al-Tikriti and al-Anaz Bridge.”
