Basra’s governor announces arresting the mastermind of al-Zubayr bombing

(IraqiNews.com) Basra – The governor of Basra Majed Nasraoui announced on Wednesday, that a security force belonging to the Falcons Cell arrested the suicide bomber that had carried out the bombing, which took place two days ago near a number of shops in the district of al-Zubayr, resulting in the death of dozens of people.

Nasraoui said in an interview for IraqiNews.com: “A security force belonging to Falcons cell managed to arrest  the mastermind of the terrorist attack, which occurred in the Barbers Street in the district of Zubair and led to the death and injury of dozens of people,” noting that “the accused is from the inhabitants of Faw district.”
