(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – Anbar Provincial Council said Monday that the ISIS forced parents to pay sums of money up to one million dinars for each family trying to get out of Fallujah, indicating that the measure is a new crisis experienced by the besieged families.

The council said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “ISIS has forced families in areas under its control to pay a million dinars to leave to other areas safer and more stable,” noting that “Some families paid 1 million dinars and exited from the city of Fallujah to Amiriya district. ”

“Such acts and actions are considered as a crime against humanity and a new crisis experienced by families besieged in the areas controlled by ISIS,” the statement added.
