BOC: Baghdad explosions kill, injure 63 persons

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Baghdad Operations Command confirmed on Tuesday evening that the two explosions that took place in Zafaraniya and Karrada resulted in killing and injuring 63 persons.

Spokesperson of the BOC Brigadier Saad Maan said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com “Two terrorist explosions took place in Baghdad, the first in Karrada area of central Baghdad, which resulted in killing eight persons and injuring 51 others.”

“The second attack took place when an Adhesive Explosive Device attached to a civilian vehicle exploded in Zafaraniya area of southern Baghdad that resulted in killing a civilian and injuring three others,” Maan added. /End/
