BOC inaugurates closed bridges, lifts concrete blocks in Sadr city

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Baghdad Operations Command inaugurated several closed bridges and lifted (1000) concrete blocks from Safi-al-Din al-Hilli Street which links Sadr city and Um al-Kaber and Ghizlan area.

The official spokesperson of Baghdad Operations Command, Dhiya al-Wakeel, reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com on Tuesday ”Coinciding with the plan of Baghdad Operations Command and the improvement in the security situation, about (1000) concrete blocks were lifted from Safi-al-Din al-Hilli Street during a celebration attended by the citizens who were grateful for this security improvement.”

”The Commander of the BOC Lieutenant General Ahmed Hashim Uda inaugurated Sheikh Omar Bridge with the attendance of the commander of the 6th Infantry Division, chairmen of security department and residents of that area who were so happy since this inauguration of this bridge will reduce the traffic jam they suffer from.” \
