Bomb blast injures 4 soldiers south of Baghdad

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source in the police announced on Sunday, that four soldiers were injured in the bombing of an explosive device south of the capital Baghdad.
The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “An explosive device that was planted on the side of the road in terms of Latifiya south of Baghdad this evening exploded when an army patrol was passing, which resulted in the wounding of four soldiers.”
The source, who asked to remain anonymous, added: “security force cordoned off the scene and the injured were taken to a nearby hospital.”
