Bomb blast kills civilian in Abu Gharib area in western Baghdad

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source within the police force in Baghdad province said on Sunday, that a civilian had been killed in a bomb blast that took place in western Baghdad.
The source reported for IraqiNews.com, “This afternoon, an explosive device that was emplaced under a civilian vehicle has went off near the court in the district of Abu Gharib in western Baghdad, resulting in the immediate death of the owner of the vehicle.”
The source added, “A security force arrived in the area and transferred the dead to the forensic medicine department, while opened an investigation into the incident.”
