Bomb blast wounds 2 civilians in southern Baghdad

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source in the Iraqi police announced on Tuesday, that two civilians were wounded in the explosion of an improvised explosive device in southern Baghdad.
The source said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “Today, an improvised explosive device emplaced on the road side exploded on a gathering of civilians near al-Orfali intersection in al-Zaafaraniya area in southern Baghdad, wounding two civilians while passing in the area.”
The source, who requested anonymity, added, “A security force rushed to the incident area and transferred the wounded to a nearby hospital.”
