Bomb blast wounds 7 police elements southwest of Samarra

Salahuddin (IraqiNews.com) On Thursday, a security source in Salahuddin province said, that nine elements of the federal police have been injured in an explosion that took place in Samarra.
The source informed IraqiNews, “Today, a bomb that was emplaced on the side of Samarra-Thurthar road went off, suddenly, while a police rank was passing through the area,” pointing out that, “The bomb blast resulted in killing 9 elements of the federal police force.”
“A security force shortly blockaded the area of the explosion and transferred the injured to a near hospital,” the source added.
