Bomb defused in Basra

Basra (IraqiNews.com) A security force defused an Improvised Explosive Device in Basra Province.

Security source reported to IraqiNews.com Friday “The Explosive Ordinance Disposal Unit dismantled an IED which was emplaced near the Basra Passports Office in Tuwaisa area.”

“Based on intelligence information, the force cordoned off the road leading to the location of emplacing the bomb,” the source added, noting that “The EOD elements defused the IED without casualties.”
