Bomb targeting security patrol wounds 2 soldiers in southern Baghdad
(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – On Monday, a source within the police force revealed, that two soldiers have been injured in a bomb blast that targeted a security patrol in southern Baghdad.
The source informed IraqiNews.com, “This afternoon, an improvised explosive device that was planted on the road side in the area of al-Rashid has went off targeting a security patrol for the Iraqi army,” pointing out that, “The explosion resulted in wounding two soldiers in the area.”
“The patrol transported the injured to a near hospital for medical treatment,” the source added.
