Border guards cleanse road linking between Trebil crossing point and Waleed intersection

(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – On Thursday, a source in Border Guards Command in Anbar Province revealed, that a force from the command cleansed the road linking between Trebil border crossing point and al-Waleed intersection west of Rutba.

The source said in a statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “A force belonging to the Border Guards Command managed, at noon today, to cleanse the road linking between Trebil border crossing point and al-Waleed intersection west of Rutba,” pointing out that, “The road is 80 kilometers long.”

The source, who asked anonymity, added, “The security forces dismantled all explosives and IEDs on the road,” indicating that, “The security force visited the families on the roadsides to check them.”
