Brave woman killed in Mosul

Nineveh, Mosul (IraqiNews.com) The Secretary General of Adel and Islah Movement, Abdulla Ajel al-Yawer, announced that a woman was killed by armed groups who stormed in her house in Mosul.Yawer reported in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The armed groups were disguising in police uniforms raided the house of the woman and handcuffed her brother preparing to kill him, when the woman discovered that the armed groups are not within police or army forces started shooting at them by a weapon which was in her house.””The woman, who belongs to Shammar tribe, killed one of the gunmen and wounded another,” he added, noting that ”The armed clashes continued till the woman was killed.”

Yawer continued saying that ”The men of tribe will chase the offenders,” stressing that ”The local police and the local government are responsible for the death of this woman, since they are supposed to provide the protection for all civil citizens in the province.”Yawer published the photo of the martyr on his personal facebook page. \END\
