Breaking News….Car bomb explodes in northern Wasit

Wassit, Kut (IraqiNews.com) A car bomb went off targeting a restaurant in northern Wassit province on Wednesday.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “The car bombing resulted in killing a civilian and injuring another.”

“The explosion caused material damages to the restaurant; meanwhile the police forces transferred the injured to the hospital for treatment and the dead to the morgue,” the source concluded.

Earlier, Baghdad and a number of other provinces witnessed series of car bombings and bomb explosions. The most violent explosion took place inside a public market in southern Hilla killing and injuring dozens of citizens.
