Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) About 26 civilians were killed and injured due to a suicide car bombing in northern Baghdad, which is considered as the second car bombing in Baghdad on Tuesday.

A security source stated to Iraqi News “The car bomb targeted a checkpoint of the Iraqi Army in al-Taji district, killing six persons and injuring 20 others.”

“A security force hurried to the explosion site, imposing a security cordon and transferring the injured to the hospital for treatment as well as the dead to the morgue,” the source concluded.
