Urgent – Commander of SOC replaced

Salah-il-Din, Tikrit (IraqiNews.com) The Commander of Samara Operations Command was replaced by the former Babel police commander.

The Commander of Samara Operations Command, Lieutenant General Rasheed Falih, stated to IraqiNews.com on Monday ”The Ministry of Defense issued a decree which stipulates to replaced me with the former Babel Police Command, Major General Sabah al-Faulawi, without clarifying the reasons behind his decision.”

Falih, who considered his transport decision as routine, added ”I will do all possible facilitations to implement this decision,” pointing that ”My new post is not identified by the Ministry yet.”

Media outlets reported news concerning replacing Falih by the former Babel police commander, though, Samara Operations Command denied these news on 14, October.

It is worth mentioning, Falih served in many security posts since he was the commander of Dhi-Qar Police and then he assumed the post of Babel police general director. \
