Urgent – .Nineveh Police Commander survives assassination

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) The Commander of Nineveh police Forces, General Khalid al-Hamdani, survived assassination in southern Mosul on Friday.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “A roadside bomb went off targeting Hamdani’s motorcade while he was inspecting the security checkpoints in Umalmahajir village,” noting that “The explosion resulted in injuring three of his guards and caused material damages to the motorcade.”

“The police forces transferred the injured guards to the hospital for treatment,” the source concluded.
