Car bomb blast kills 2, hurts 5 in southern Baghdad
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) On Thursday, a source within the police force said, that 2 people have been killed and 5 others were hurt in a car bombing near Mahmudiya al-Rashid in southern Baghdad.
The source informed IraqiNews, “A bomb that was emplaced inside a car parked at Mahmudiya al-Rashid area in southern Baghdad, suddenly went off, causing 2 deaths and 5 injuries among civilians.”
The source who requested anonymity said, that the security forces shortly blockaded the area of the explosion and transferred the injured ones to a near hospital and the dead bodies to the Forensic Medicine Authority.
