Car bomb blast kills civilian in al-Latifiya in southern Baghdad

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source from the police force in Baghdad province said on Sunday that a civilian was killed in a bomb blast that took place in southern Baghdad.

According to information shared by the source and received by Iraqi News it was stated, “This afternoon, an explosive device that was placed under a vehicle driven by one of the civilians went off at al-Latifiya, resulting in his immediate death,” adding, “Security forces cordoned off the blast area and transferred the dead body to the forensic department.”
