(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source in the Iraqi Ministry of Interior revealed on Monday, that three employees in Baghdad Health Directorate were either killed or wounded in the explosion of an adhesive improvised explosive device in western Baghdad.

The source said in a statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “An adhesive improvised explosive device emplaced under a vehicle carrying three employees in Baghdad Health Directorate exploded, at noon today, in Euphrates area in western Baghdad, killing one of them and wounding two others.”

The source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, added, “A security force rushed to the area and evacuated the wounded to a nearby hospital to receive treatment and the dead body to the forensic medicine department.”
