Car bomb explosion near Mashtal area leaves casualties

Baghdad – (IraqiNews.com) Baghdad Operations Command announced on Wednesday, that a number of people were wounded in the explosion of a car bomb that was parked in al-Mashtal area, east of the capital.

The command said in a brief statement, “A number of citizens were wounded in the explosion of a booby-trapped vehicle that was parked near Baqubah old garage in al-Mashtal area, east of Baghdad.”

Earlier today, three civilians were killed and nine others were wounded in four bomb blast in the areas of 4^th Shurta, 5^th Shurta and al-Bayaa, north of Baghdad.

Also today, a number of civilians were wounded in another bomb blast near the entrance of al-Za’afaraniyah area, southeast of Baghdad.
