Car bomb kills 1, wounds 8 in Amil district, Baghdad

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source within the Iraqi police announced on Sunday, that the outcome of a car bomb in al-Amil district southwest of Baghdad is one dead and eight wounded.
The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “The car bombing that took place in al-Amil district southwest of Baghdad left one civilian dead and eight others wounded.”
The source, who requested to remain anonymous, added, “Police forces and ambulances rushed to the explosion scene, and transferred the dead body to the Forensic Medicine Authority and the wounded to a nearby hospital for treatment.”
