(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – On Tuesday, a source within the police force in Baghdad province said, that a car bomb explosion in the area of al-Arsat has left 3 dead and 9 injured civilians.

The source stated for IraqiNews.com “At noon, a bomb that was emplaced inside a vehicle has went off near al-Khudairy Mosque in the area of al-Arsat, located in central Baghdad,” noting that, “The bomb blast has killed 3 people and injured at least 9 others in the area of the explosion.”

“Police cars and ambulances have ran into the site, while a security force has shortly cordoned off the area of the explosion in anticipation of any emergency,” the source also added.
