Car bomb kills 7, wounds 15 in west of Baghdad

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – On Monday, a source within the police force in Baghdad said, that 26 people have been either killed or injured in a car bombing in west of Baghdad.

The source told IraqiNews.com, “This evening, a bomb that was emplaced inside a car has went off in the area of al-Mansour in west of Baghdad,” noting that, “The bomb blast resulted in killing 7 people and injuring 19 others, in addition to burning more than 15 vehicles in the area.”

“Security forces blockaded the area and ambulances transferred the injured to a near hospital for medical treatment and the dead to the Forensic Medicine Authority,” the source added.
