Car bomb targets officer’s house in northern Tikrit

Salah-il-Din (IraqiNews.com) A car bomb exploded in front of a house belongs to a police officer in northern Tikrit on last Saturday night.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “The officer was killed while four among his guards along with three of his sons were injured in the explosion that caused material damages to the house.”

“The ambulances transported the injured to the hospital for treatment and the dead to the morgue,” the source concluded.
