Casualties of southren Babel car bombing hit 70 deaths, injuries

Babel, Hilla (IraqiNews.com) The casualties of the car bombing that took place inside a public market in al-Hamza al-Gharbi ditrict of southern Babel reached about 70 deaths and injuries.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “The bombing resulted in killing about ten persons and injuring more than 60 others,” noting that “The police forces cordnoned off the explosion area to avoid more bombings and transferred the injured to the hospital for treatment as well as the dead to the morgues.”

Earlier, a car bomb exploded inside a public market in southern Babel province on Wednesday morning.
