Chieftain survives assassination in Wasit

Wasit (IraqiNews.com) The Chieftain of Albo Badr Tribe survives assassination in Wasit on Sunday.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “Unidentified gunmen conducted an armed operation targeting the house of the Chieftain, Ahmed Salah Aziz al-Ati, in al-Hay area.”

“Clashes erupted with the gunmen resulted in capturing two of them while the chieftain remain safe,” the source concluded.
